Do It Best Corp., a member-owned hardware, lumber and building materials buying cooperative for the home improvement industry, will invest $20 million in developing a 50-acre site in Mesquite for a 525,000-square-foot distribution center, the Nevada Development Authority announced Thursday.
Construction is scheduled to begin in June and the warehouse is expected to open in June 2005 and employ 65 people.
Working with the NDA, Do It Best received a sales tax abatement on the equipment to be installed in the new building totaling $321,000, NDA officials said.
