So Republicans are upset because Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi called President Bush an incompetent for his handling of his Iraqi war.

Could it be that she sees that the reasons that the Bush administration gave for going to war -- weapons of mass destruction, Saddam's nuclear weapons program, and his ties to al-Qaida -- have all turned out to be false?

Could it also be that she sees that no provision was made for the peace, leaving our brave troops surrounded by a hostile population, like shipwrecked survivors on an island in shark-filled waters?

Calling him incompetent is a mild criticism of President Bush's inaction there.
