Cannery to host blood drive Monday
The Cannery hotel and United Blood Services are hosting the first community blood drive at the North Las Vegas hotel from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Participation of the event is often used to measure community participation levels during the warmer months.
As an appreciation gift for those who come out to donate blood, the Cannery will be giving away a free buffet and 1,000 American Can Club Slot Points.
Potential blood donors can call 233-9620 for appointments. And for answers to eligibility questions, donors can call 228-4483.
