Because of errors by the Sun, a May 21 story included the incorrect spelling of the last name of a former member of the Economic Opportunity Board's financial team and also mischaracterized her former place in the hierarchy of the organization.

Her name is Christie Gray, she was the assistant to the chief financial officer and was not second-in-command in the organization's financial division. The Sun regrets the errors.

* Because of an error by the Sun, a May 17 story had the incorrect year President Bush and Congress approved Yucca Mountain as the repository for the nation's high-level nuclear waste. The designation was made in 2002. The Sun regrets the error.
