William Jennings Bryant
William Jennings Bryant, 73, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. A retired chef, he was born May 3, 1931, in Jackson, Tenn.
He is survived by two sons, William Bryant Jr. of Los Angeles and Robert Bryant of Marina Del Rey, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Leo Hahn
Leo Hahn, 87, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born March 2, 1917, in Baltimore. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired sales manager in consumer electronics, past president of B'nai B'rith in Englewood, N.J., and a member of B'nai B'rith's Nate Mack Lodge in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry; one son, Elliott Hahn of Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at noon today in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, handled arrangements.
Richard M. Kunkler
Richard M. Kunkler, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 25, 1931, in Columbus, Ohio. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired restaurateur and a Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by one sister-in-law, and other family members, all of Ohio.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Columbus. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Edwin George 'Ed' Nielsen
Edwin George "Ed" Nielsen, 99, of Tempe, Ariz., died May 8 in Tempe. He was born Feb. 25, 1905, in Clinton, Iowa. A former Boulder City resident from 1945 to 1954, he was a member of Theta Tau fraternity at the University of Iowa, a licensed civil engineer in Colorado and Arizona and worked with the Bureau of Reclamation from 1934 to 1959, was regional director of the Boulder City office, assistant commissioner of the bureau in Washington, D.C., and U.S. delegate to the World Power Congress in Belgrade in 1957 and Montreal in 1958, administrator at Arizona Power Co., in Phoenix, and a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
He was preceded in death in 1981 by his wife of 54 years, Mary.
He is survived by three sisters, Phyllis Marcantonio of Broomfield, Colo., Mary Zimmerman of Albuquerque and Carol Garmon of Chandler, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Arizona Aftercare handled arrangements.
The family suggests donations to Children's Cancer Center, 1919 East Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
Georgette Theresa St. Pierre
Georgette Theresa St. Pierre, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 7, 1937, in Cohoes, N.Y. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired housekeeping supervisor.
She is survived by two sisters, Dora H. Moody of North Anson, Maine, and Michelle Murphy of Norridgewock, Maine.

Vasiliki Tringas
Vasiliki Tringas, 79, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. A retired custodian, she was born May 15, 1925, in Greece.
She is survived by two sons, Chris Tringas of Las Vegas and George Tringas of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one daughter, Susanna Tringas of Brooklyn; and one grandchild.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
John A. Urby
John A. Urby, 79, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born July 19, 1924, in Seguin, Texas. A resident for 58 years, he was a retired hotel beverage manager and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen; two daughters, Ellen "Kitty" Hart of Oxnard, Calif., and Sharyn Fitzgerald of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., handled private arrangements.
