Extended-stay hotel opening in the fall

Las Vegas-based Nigro Development is entering the lodging industry as co-owner of Siena Suites, a 600-room extended-stay hotel under construction at the southeast corner of Russell Road and Boulder Highway.
Todd and Michael Nigro, co-owners of Nigro Development, Michael Mixer, senior vice president at Colliers International land division, and the Argier family formed Russell Boulder LLC, which owns the property. The group has chosen Premier Hotel Corp. to provide property management.
Nigro Development is overseeing construction of the project. The first phase of 300 rooms is scheduled to open this fall. Construction on the second phase is scheduled to being in 2005. Project costs were not disclosed.
