Eldorado graduate excels in Air Force medical group

Air Force Staff Sgt. Sandra Danial, Eldorado High School class of 1994 and daughter of retired Air Force Master Sgt. James and Sang Dunn of Las Vegas, was recently named the Materiel Command outstanding health plan manager noncommissioned officer of the year.
Danial is a physical evaluation board liaison officer assigned to the 75th Medical Support Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. She has eight years of military service. According to Hill officials, her selection was based on her exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities and significant self-improvement efforts.
"I was just really surprised and happy that I was recognized," Danial said.
Her supervisor, Master Sgt. Robert Seidlitz, superintendent of Business Operations and Beneficiary Services Flight, lauded Danial for her performance leading to the award.
"Staff Sgt. Danial is every supervisor's dream employee," he said. "Her work in stressful and complex situations is unparalleled. She's able to break down difficult projects into the most simplified solutions, and her willingness to do whatever it takes so that the team succeeds is uncanny."
Seidlitz added that within just a few months after her arrival at Hill, Danial had become the resident expert in most areas of the office.
"The bottom line is that whenever a patient comes in with something that needs special attention, you can be assured that most folks in the office will be referring that patient to Staff Sgt. Danial. She is easily one of the most well-respected NCOs in her unit -- bar none," Seidlitz said.
