Norma Frehner Bowman
Norma Frehner Bowman, 81, of Pahrump died Friday in Nye. She was born June 9, 1922, in St. Thomas. A lifetime Southern Nevada resident, she was a homemaker, LDS Relief Society president, Young Women's president, and Primary president. She was active in elementary school activities, and was a member of the PTA and Pahrump Women's Club.
She is survived by three daughters, Laraine Crowther and Karen Jolley, both of Pahrump, and Janet Rife of Mesa, Ariz.; two sons, Gary Bowman and Mark Bowman, both of Pahrump; three brothers, Ted Frehner of Pahrump and Floyd Frehner and Garth Frehner, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Ida Cucisk of Las Vegas; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday, followed by services in Pahrump LDS chapel. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
William Briggs
William Briggs, 91, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 26, 1913, in Chicago. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired surveyor for the city government.
He is survived by one son, Larry Hippert, and two daughters, Pam Riebe and Jerry Burton, all of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Marlene Fore
Marlene Fore, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 19, 1932, in Setanta, Kan. A resident for five years, she was a retired restaurant owner.
She is survived by her husband, Glen; one daughter, Cindy Snyder of Las Vegas; three sons, Steven Meyer of Las Vegas, Neal Sprott of Minden and Darrell Meyer of Modesto, Calif.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Victor E. Kral
Victor E. Kral, 92, of Reno died Aug. 29 in Reno. He was born Aug. 7, 1911. A resident for many, he was a Nevada mining engineer, he taught field prospecting classes, worked for the Nevada Department of Highways, Nevada Bureau of Mines, the U.S. Bureau of Mines, Ford Motor Co. and consulted for Homestake Mining Company, he was a World War II veteran, he partnered with Andrus Resources to form VEK/Andrus and Associates, and he was a member of the Rotary Club, Mount Rose Masonic Lodge No. 40, and the Order of the Eastern Star Martha Chapter No. 5.
He is survived by his wife, La Verne; one daughter, Vicki; and two sons, Kenneth and Edward.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. May 29 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Northern Nevada, 780 Del Monte Lane, Reno.
The family suggests donations to the Victor and LaVerne Kral Scholarship Endowment, c/o the UNR Foundation, Mail Stop 162, Reno, NV 89557.

Sam Libitsky
Sam Libitsky, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. Born Oct. 4 1926 in Illinois, he was a glazier.
He is survived by one daughter, Cathy Zusser of Oak Park, Calif.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Mt. Sinai Memorial Park. Hites Funeral Home, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Michele Seitz
Michele Seitz, 34, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born July 29, 1969, in New York. A resident for five years, she was a saleswoman.
She is survived by her father, Morris Seitz of New York; her mother, Beatriz Seitz and her stepfather, Steve Furman, both of Brush, Colo.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Emmanuel Cemetery in Denver. Hites Funeral Home, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Pearl E. Worthen
Pearl E. Worthen, 82, of Boulder City died Thursday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 14, 1921, in Tama, Iowa. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Hetrick of North Las Vegas and Linda Grant of Boulder City; one son, Dennis Worthen of Puyallup, Wash.; one sister, Mae Elms of Orville, Calif.; two brothers, Roy Brownell of Leeds, Utah, and Billy Brownell of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior 3 p.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
