Seminar to offer Internet health tips
North Las Vegas Library, 2300 Civic Center Drive, will hold a seminar, "Finding Health Information on the Internet," from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Learn how to find information on diseases, medical conditions, a doctor who specializes in treating specific diseases or conditions, your medications; and about taking natural products, dietary supplements, medicinal plants or other complementary or alternative medicines.
The program is limited to the first 25 people who sign up.

Preservation group celebrates 30 years
The Preservation Association of Clark County will celebrate 30 years since its founding at its next program, at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the old Post Office and Courthouse, 301 E. Stewart Ave.
A brief meeting, election of officers, and presentation of PACC's annual Preservation Award will be followed by a talk given by longtime television news executive Robert Stoldal, who will speak on "Las Vegas: The Wildest Town in Lincoln County ... 1904."
The event is free and open to the public.

90 Plus Banquet planned on Saturday
The Las Vegas Senior Citizens Center will hold its 13th annual 90 Plus Banquet from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at 451 E. Bonanza Road.
Qualifying seniors interested in attending the banquet should call Christine Wittwer at 229-6454 to request an invitation and make a reservation.
The Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services provides a wide range of programming at the Las Vegas Senior Citizens Center for residents 50 years of age and older. The center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, providing classes, dances, special meals, a library, games and other social events.
