StumbleMan killed while trying to cross Interstate 15

A 31-year-old man was killed Sunday morning while crossing Interstate 15 on foot between Tropicana Avenue and Russell Road, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.
The victim was identified by the coroner's office as David Hughes Jr. Troopers said Hughes had recently moved to Las Vegas from Rochester, N.Y.
Hughes was trying to cross the highway about 5:40 a.m. when he was hit by a southbound Ford Explorer, Trooper John Conag said. Hughes died at the scene. The driver is not expected to face charges.
