Art, live music, entertainment and food vendors will take over Water Street in downtown Henderson this weekend for the seventh annual ArtFest of Henderson, which features the work of more than 200 national and local artists.
Held between Atlantic Avenue and Basic Road, the two-day festival features ceramics, paintings, woodwork, jewelry, metal and mixed-media pieces.
Reggae, folk, jazz, country and rock bands perform on different stages. Also featured will be the Tahi Dance Company, belly dancers, magicians and an arts area for children.
Presented by The Events Group of Tempe, Ariz., ArtFest of Henderson began as an effort to rejuvenate interest in the downtown area and draws thousands of locals and tourists each year. Admission is free.
