Metro Police are asking for the public's assistance in finding a large piece of equipment used in making movies that was inside a rental car stolen in April.
The item is valued at $100,000, police said.
It was in a white Chevrolet Malibu stolen April 23 from the Budget Suites on Paradise Road near Flamingo Road. The car was later found, but the movie equipment was missing, police said.
The piece of equipment, described as a Mo-Sys Cartoni Lambda camera head, was in a black 80-pound case. The company that owns the item, Mo-Sys, is offering a $2,000 reward for the recovery of the equipment.
