Rita Martin Abrams
Rita Martin Abrams, 86, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. A retail saleswoman, she was born March 24, 1918, in Pennsylvania.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Pantaleo of Irving, Texas, and Gary Pantaleo of Henderson; one daughter, Pam Allen of Marietta, Ga.; two sisters, Helen Pecoff of Escondido, Calif., and Jerry Pecoff of San Fernando Valley, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Amos Barnard Blood
Amos Barnard Blood, 37, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in North Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was born April 16, 1966, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by two sons, Lamar Jamison and Omar Blood, three daughters, Anika Blood, Brandi Wesley and Breion Wesley, his parents, Willie Ann and Willie Amos Blood Jr., and one sister, Jackie Blood, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Carver Missionary Baptist Church, 1221 N. J St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Fernando D. Colicci
Fernando D. Colicci, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 2, 1927, in Naples, Italy. A resident for eight years, he was a retired cement mason.
He is survived by three sons, Robert Colicci and Jeff Colicci, both of Las Vegas, and Guiseppe Colicci of San Georgio, Italy; one daughter, Lisa Underhill of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
Sharon Crosby
Sharon Crosby, 46, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born March 10, 1958, in England. A lifelong resident, she was a hotel waitress.
She is survived by two sons, James Schooley and Jason-Ray Schooley, and one daughter, Raylene Schooley, all of Las Vegas; her parents, Bobbi and James Killmer of Mack's Inn, Idaho; three sisters, Denise Bogel of North Wales, Pa., Melanie Youells of Sellersville, Pa., and Amanda Hillerman of Chalfont, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
William Leland Edwards
William Leland Edwards, 75, of Henderson died Wednesday in Henderson. He was born May 10, 1928, in Chicago. He was retired from Canadian National Railways and Grand Truck Western Railroad, was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and National Association of Broadcast Engineers and Technicians.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Irene; three daughters, Shirley Ann Downie of Swartz Creek, Mich., Kathy Lee Schnell of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., and Sally Irene Wolter of Rockford, Mich.; one son, James Leland Edwards of Flint, Mich.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Carlie Marie Evans
Carlie Marie Evans died Thursday, her date of birth, in a local hospital.
She is survived by her mother, Cathy Somers, and her father, David Evans, both of Las Vegas; and her grandparents, Harriet and Robert Evans of Butte, Mont., Ralph Somers of Pioche and Judie and Jerry Wells of Cocoa, Fla.
Private services will be in Pioche. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Brian Christopher Freely
Brian Christopher Freely, 32, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 15, 1971, in Bellflower, Calif. A resident for 18 years, he was disabled.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Deuanna and Robert Schlink of Crown Point, Ind.; his father and stepmother, Frank and Grace Freely, and one brother, Dustin Freely, all of California.

Deitrick Terrill Gaines, 30, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Columbus, Ga. He was born Nov. 7, 1973, in Las Vegas. A resident for 3 1/2 years, he was a security officer for MRW and a certified nursing assistant at Muscogee Manor.
He is survived by his wife, Mo'Nique; two sons, Deitrick Jr. of Las Vegas and De'Kari of Columbus; three daughters, Quamisha, De'Trice and Terra'Nique, his mother, Lilly, one sister, Detoya Alex, and one brother, Demetrius, all of Las Vegas.

Juana O. Guerra
Juana O. Guerra, 93, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A resident for 33 years, she was born June 14, 1910, in Mexico.
She is survived by one daughter, Consuelo Prado of Las Vegas; two sons, Dionisio Guerra of Sunland Park, N.M., and Juan M. Guerra of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, Manuel Ortiz, and one sister, Maria Ortiz, both of Mexico; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Diane Downey Hines
Diane Downey Hines, 54, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born May 16, 1949, in Michigan. A resident for 49 years, she was a retail manager in the clothing industry for 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Nichole White and Stacey Stearns, both of Orlando, Fla.; her mother, Donna Downey of Parma, Mich.; and four grandchildren.

Matilda V. Minner, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born May 10, 1925, in Garrison, Texas. A resident for two years, she was a retired laboratory technician and a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by two brothers, Joseph A. Stripling Jr. of Las Vegas and Moss Allen Stripling of Stockton, Calif.; two sisters, Lular Cochran of Edmond, Okla., and Darlene Hancock of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 5--7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Joseph A. Moll
Joseph A. Moll, 62, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 25, 1941, in Chicago. A resident for 22 years, he was a security officer and an Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Eric Moll of Westmont, Ill.; one sister, Sharon Melton of Las Vegas; and two brothers, David Cella of Riverside, Calif., and Donald Moll of Tinley Park, Ill.

Napoleon O. Palor
Napoleon O. Palor, 65, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 4, 1938, in the Philippines. A resident for 41 years, he was a retired casino floorman.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one son, Luis Palor; three daughters, Cathie Sylvester, Jennifer Walton and Annabelle Bosset; his mother, Linda Ocana Sarmiento; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Florence Parker
Florence Parker, 89, of Las Vegas died March 15 in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 28, 1914, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. A resident for eight years, she was a retired nurse's aide, a member of PNP Society of the 28th Division Auxiliary 27 in Philadelphia, Eastern Star Harmony Chapter of Kingston, Pa., Daughters of '98 Spanish-American War Vets and Columbian Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary of Kingston.
She is survived by one son, Arthur R.W. Parker Jr. of Las Vegas; and one sister, Margarett Dickey of Kingston.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements. A memorial service date is pending.
Robert E. Ray
Robert E. Ray, 42, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 10, 1961, in Greenville, S.C. A resident for 28 years, he was a food server.
He is survived by his father, the Rev. James A. Ray Sr.; his mother, Lillian D. Smith; and three brothers, Randy V. Ray, James A. Ray Jr., and Joseph M. Ray.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.
Charles Lee Rogers
Charles Lee Rogers, 52, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A resident for 30 years, he was born Feb. 22, 1952, in West Memphis, Ark.
He is survived by two daughters, Rachelan N. Hodges and Regina McDaniel, and two sons, Charles Rogers Jr. and Dwayne Rogers, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Dorothy Rogers of West Memphis, Ark.; two brothers, Jesse Rogers of Las Vegas and James Rogers of Chicago; one sister, Bonnie Reed of Memphis, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Second Baptist Church, 500 W. Madison Ave. Burial will be private.
Donna L. Schwasinger
Donna L. Schwasinger, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Nov. 8, 1931, in Oshkosh, Neb. A resident for 36 years, she was a retired hotel supervisor.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandi Brondyke and Diane Bauer, and one sister, Delsie Pounds, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Bill Carlson of Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Louise E.R. Scott, 94, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born March 31, 1909, in Adel, Iowa. A resident for 46 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Scott of North Las Vegas and Donald Scott of Baytown, Texas.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Church of the Nazarene-Charleston Heights, 6219 W. Washington Ave. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
H. Carroll 'Cal' Sheehy Jr.
H. Carroll "Cal" Sheehy Jr., 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 30, 1921, in Chicago. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired bank vice president and World War II Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen Lane.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Howell Sheehy; six daughters, Patricia Kinney of Omaha, Neb., Sara Hilton of Knoxville, Tenn., Margaret Collins of Pasadena, Calif., Florence Dake and Maureen Kenny, both of Las Vegas, and Mary Hickey of Glencoe, Ill.; four sons, H. Carroll Sheehy III of Taverse City, Mich., Walter Sheehy of Milwaukee, Kevin Sheehy of Dallas and David Sheehy of Las Vegas; 23 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Amelia Soto, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday. A resident for 12 years, she was born Dec. 31, 1922, in the Philippines.
She is survived by one daughter, Marissa Winfrey of Glendale, Calif.; three sisters, Fely Davis of Whittier, Calif., Aurora DeJesus of Buena Park, Calif., and Amada Regalado of Pasadena, Calif.; and three brothers, Jose Olona of New Jersey and Antonio Olona and Amaury Olona, both of the Philippines.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. April 10 in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
Harvey Lee Welsh
Harvey Lee Welsh, 71, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 14, 1932, in Parker, Fla. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired heavy equipment mechanic and a Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; one daughter, Carol Welsh of McKinney, Texas; one son, Kenneth Lee Welsh of Puyallup, Wash.; two sisters, Dorothy Kelly of Big Sandy, Tenn., and Sandy Fendley of Cherry Log, Ga.; four brothers, Jack Welsh of Marietta, Ga., Don Welsh of Ackworth, Ga., Jimmy Welsh of Abita Springs, La., and Jerry Welsh of Savannah, Ga.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
