Music

April Fools concert

The Bright Light City Bassoons will present their annual April Fools Day concert at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at UNLV's Doc Rando Recital Hall. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the Endangered Instrument Project. 895-1575.

Concert

The Nevada Chamber Symphony will present the final concert of its Master Classics series at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. Admission is free. 433-9280.

Young artists

The Henderson Civic Symphony will host its 10th annual Young Artist Concert at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St. Admission is free. 267-4035.

Benefit concert

Nine bands will perform at a benefit concert for Bradley Smith, an 11-year-old boy with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday at Barley's Casino and Brewing Company, 4500 E. Sunset Road. Admission is a $5 minimum donation to the "Bradley Alan Smith Medical Fund."

A benefit concert for 5-year-old brain cancer victim Kelsey Jane Roberts will be held from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday at The Beach, 365 Convention Center Drive. Admission is a $10 donation. 558-1456.
