Joseph F. Aliseo

Joseph F. Aliseo, 84, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. Born March 20, 1920, in Palermo, Italy, he was a retired tool and die maker, World War II Army veteran, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion Post 1323 and the FAM 854.

He is survived by his wife, Ida; two daughters, Grace Aliseo-Abel and Rosemarie Frawley, and one son, Joseph Andrew Aliseo, all of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Richard H. Bauman

Richard H. Bauman, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 17, 1933, in Mobridge, S.D. A resident for 56 years, he was a retired waiter, disabled Korean War Air Force veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by one son, Frank Biondo, and one daughter, Kathy Bauman, both of Dallas; one brother, Hugh Bauman of Henderson; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Dolores Beniquez

Dolores Beniquez, 97, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. She was born April 20, 1906, in Puerto Rico. A resident for 18 years, she was a floor manager in the textile industry.

She is survived by two daughters, Nelida Ramos and Lueyla Bosque, both of Las Vegas; three sons, Aureliano Beniquez of Harbor City, Calif., Reinaldo Beniquez of Queens, N.Y., and Eric Beniquez of San Diego; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Albert J. Burns Jr.

Albert J. Burns Jr., 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born March 19, 1943, in Louisiana. A resident for 41 years, he was a government foreman.

He is survived by his wife Amanda; two daughters, Jacqueline Brown and Debra Burns, both of Las Vegas; one son, Gary Burns of Las Vegas; four brothers, John Burns of Oklahoma, Willie Burns of St. Louis and Charles Burns and Ray Anthony Burns, both of Las Vegas; seven sisters, Debora Coleman of Bossier City, La., Barbara Burns of Detroit, Shirley Jenkins of Antioch, Calif., and Helena Glover, Sharon Stubbs, Beatrice Ennis and Linda Burns, all of Las Vegas; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1165 Lawry Ave., followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Patricia Cochran

Patricia Cochran, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 15, 1927, in Michigan. A resident for 16 years, she was a retired Los Angeles Police accountant.

She is survived by one son, Duane Hart; two daughters, Judy Coss and Pamela Bently; one sister, Dorothy Parvovich; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be private. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

David Deeter

David Deeter, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday. He was born July 18, 1939, in Grant County, Ind. A resident since the mid 1990s, he owned an automobile business, was an Army veteran, managed real estate and rental properties, and he was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

He is survived by his companion, Virginia Bohannon; four daughters, Peggy Deeter, Joan Thompson, Laurie Deeter and Sunshine Montgomery; one son, Bob Deeter; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Robert E. Franklin

Robert E. Franklin, 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 7, 1951, in Henderson.

He is survived by his companion, Willie Lexing of North Las Vegas; three daughters, Veronica Bell of Reno and Tiffany Franklin and Robin Franklin, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Katherine Prater, and one sister, both of Las Vegas; four brothers, John Coleman of North Las Vegas, Stanley Franklin of Henderson and Paul Franklin and George Franklin, both of Las Vegas; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Carver Baptist Church, 1221 N. J St., followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Anna M. Halecki

Anna M. Halecki, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 1, 1918, in Trenton, N.J. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker, and a member of the Moose.

She is survived by one daughter, Janice Halecki of Las Vegas; one brother, Frank Bogacz of Miami, Okla.; and one sister, Mary Menne of Los Osos, Calif.

James Harris Jr.

James Harris Jr., 58, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 9, 1945, in Mississippi. A resident for 15 years, he was a corrections officer and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Tic; and two sons, James Harris III of Salt Lake City and Jason Harris of Seattle.

Ardyce M. 'Ardie' Heuer

Ardyce M. "Ardie" Heuer, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 7, 1927, in LaGrande, Ore. A resident for 46 years, she was a retired cage manager/audit clerk.

She is survived by her best friend, Jim Pelcher of Las Vegas; two sons, Terry Twombly of Moses Lake, Wash., and Jack Heuer of Las Vegas; one daughter, Jill Petty, and one sister, Dee Argo, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Doran Duncan of Las Vegas and Duane Duncan of Drain, Ore.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Monday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by burial in Memory Gardens.

Don R. Martin

Don R. Martin, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born April 21, 1930, in North Manchester, Ind. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired chemical engineer.

He is survived by two daughters, Lynn M. Piercy of Las Vegas and Donna Martin of Reno; one brother, Tom Martin of Newark, Del.; one sister, Rose Shertzer of Lancaster, Pa.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held in Delaware. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Wetumka M. Moffatt Jr.

Wetumka M. Moffatt Jr., 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 13, 1929, in Tyler, Texas. A resident for four years, he was a retired city government executive director.

He is survived by two daughters, Schatzie Jefferson of San Francisco and Monica Moffatt of Elk Grove, Calif.; and four sons, Dennis Allen of Kansas City, Kan., Michael Allen of Berkeley, Calif., Corey Moffatt of Las Vegas and Shelby Richard Moffatt of Rocklin, Calif.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Eligio Napoles-Rodriguez

Eligio Napoles-Rodriguez, 64, of Las Vegas died March 16 in a local hospital. Born Dec. 1, 1939, in Mexico, he was a resident for 45 years.

He is survived by his wife, Trinidad; seven sons, Jose Napoles-Garcia, Jose Cruz Napoles-Garcia, Armando Napoles-Garcia, Eligio Napoles-Garcia, Martin Napoles-Garcia, Juan Carlos Napoles-Garcia and Jime Napoles-Garcia; three daughters, Estella Napoles-Garcia, Anabertha Napoles-Garcia and Blanca Isabel Napoles-Garcia; his father, Juan Napoles; his mother, Rosario Rodriguez; six brothers, Juan Napoles-Rodriguez, Salvador Napoles-Rodriguez, Ramon Napoles-Rodriguez, Eustolio Napoles-Rodriguez, Jesus Napoles-Rodriguez and Eliseo Napoles-Rodriguez; three sisters, Maria Napoles-Rodriguez, Consepcion Napoles-Rodriguez and Guadalupe Napoles-Rodriguez; and 27 grandchildren.

Dickie Roberts O'Clair

Dickie Roberts O'Clair, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. Born May 16, 1938, in Bowdoinham, Maine, he was a retired welder.

He is survived by his wife, Alois; two daughters, Elizabeth Erickson of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, and Catherine Croto Vezina, Windham, Maine; and four grandchildren.

David D. Palay Sr.

David D. Palay Sr., 57, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Nevada. Born Nov. 19, 1946, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., he was a pilot, and a Vietnam Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela; two sons, David Palay Jr. of Lake Charles, La., and Chris Palay of Las Vegas; one sister, Susan Lawyer of Clermont, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be private. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

John Russell Phillips

John Russell Phillips, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. Born March 2, 1920, in Mint Hill, Mo., he was an Army master sergeant.

He is survived three daughters, Burma Gail Walther of Jefferson City, Mo., Pamela Faye Martinez of Seattle and Johna Christine Byrd of Las Vegas; two sisters, Bernice Jenkins of Union, Mo., and Mae Baker of Jefferson City; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled at noon Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Cryptside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Bunker's Memory Gardens.

Ed A. Stephens

Ed A. Stephens, 54, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 22, 1949, in La Mesa, Texas. A resident for 42 years, he was a carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; two daughters, Angie McComb of Napa, Calif., and Sheree Plumer of Las Vegas; one son, Jason Flores of Las Vegas; his father, Robert H. Stephens of Alba, Texas; two sisters, Vanetta Plumlee of Yantis, Texas, and Dru Stephens of Las Vegas; three brothers, Toby Stephens, Mike Stephens and Brad Stephens, all of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is private. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Kenneth Kindel Windham Jr.

Kenneth Kindel Windham Jr., 56, of Las Vegas died March 15 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 18, 1947, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, he worked for Anderson Dairy, and was a Vietnam War Army veteran and was awarded the Purple Heart.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Katherine; three sons, Mark Windham and Marty Windham, both of Las Vegas, and Kenney Windham III of Estes Park, Colo.; two sisters, Frostie Whitmore of Overton and Karen Moore of North Carolina; and five grandchildren.

Sunrise Cremation and Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road, Suite 5, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
