Thursday, March 18, 2004 | 9:32 a.m.
High school: Centennial ('03)
Where she is now: Syracuse
Class: Freshman
Sport: Softball
Currently: It did not take long for Delgado to earn herself some extended playing time at Syracuse in her first season. Delgado, who is currently playing in the outfield, has already started in 17 of Syracuse's 24 games and has seen some time in all but four of them. Delgado has homered for the Orangemen and also stolen a base.
Looking back: Delgado helped the Centennial softball team to its two most successful seasons in 2001-02 and 2002-03. The Bulldogs came within one win of the state championship in both seasons.
