‘Rent’ cast to host HIV fund-raiser

Following Friday's opening-night performance, the cast of "Rent" will host an HIV & AIDS Awareness Benefit at Prana Restaurant at Desert Passage at the Aladdin.

Admission is a $10 donation. You must be 21 years or older to attend.

The event will benefit Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN), the Center of Southern Nevada and Golden Rainbow, all of which are nonprofit organizations that help those affected by HIV and AIDS in Southern Nevada.

Guests can visit with the cast of "Rent" and other local performers during the benefit.
