Barbara Altshuler

Barbara Altshuler, 57, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 16, 1946, in Cleveland. She was a teacher for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband, Howard; one son, Scott Altshuler of Cleveland; one brother, Richard Lamden of Columbus, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

Services and burial were scheduled at 3:30 p.m. today at King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

The family suggests donations to any area public school.

Louise D. Callahan

Louise D. Callahan, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born July 6, 1919, in West Warwick, R.I. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Robert G. Callahan of Cassville, Mo.; one daughter, Laura Moutter of Yermo, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Burial will be in Cassville.

Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Pauline Cluff

Pauline Cluff, 48, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 11, 1955, in Bisbee, Ariz. A resident for 14 years, she was a growth hormone sales telemarketer, a receptionist and a member of Junior Achievement Club.

She is survived by her father, Val Cluff of Littlefield, Ariz.; her mother, Zora Bingham of Oracle, Ariz.; two brothers, Holly Bingham of Sparks, Okla., and Tony Cluff of Littlefield; four sisters, Annette Thompson of Mapleton, Utah, Cathy Ferrari of Oldham, England, Bonnie Kelley of Chandler, Ariz., and Ronna Parker of Altus, Okla.; and her stepmother, Carmolette Cluff of Phoenix.

Visitation was scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, and 9 a.m. Wednesday with funeral services at 10 a.m. at the LDS Palora chapel, 1725 Palora Ave. Burial will be in St. David, Ariz.

Judith A. Cooper

Judith A. Cooper, 58, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 2, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio. A resident for 16 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Larry W.; one daughter, Kim Tanz of Las Vegas; one sister, Susan Hescock of Las Vegas; three brothers, Robert Rochte and David Rochte, both of Las Vegas, and Gary Rochte of Toledo; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is private. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Joseph Digles

Joseph Digles, 73, of Incline Village died Thursday in Incline Village. He was born June 15, 1930, in Illinois. A resident of Nevada for 50 years and a former Las Vegas resident, he was a retired editor of the Review-Journal, former owner and publisher of the Las Vegas Valley Times and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by two stepsons, James Gallo and John Vorpahl, both of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Slade of Durango, Colo.; one brother, Ronald Digles, of Henderson; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to the donor's favorite charity.

Mario Febbraro

Mario Febbraro, 75, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 1, 1928, in Naples, Italy. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired retail owner and operator.

He is survived by his companion, Concetta Febbraro; two sons, Pasquale Febbraro of Las Vegas and Alfredo Febbraro of Manalapan, N.J.; one daughter, Rosaria Carbonara of Rivergrove, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., with services following.

Roland R. Fortenberry

Roland R. Fortenberry, 80, a former resident of Las Vegas, died Feb. 11 in Puyallup, Wash. He was born Aug. 19, 1923, in Meadows, Texas. He was a retired house painter.

He is survived by two daughters, Sherry Withers of Las Vegas and Lisa Richardson of Utah; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Burial was in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson handled arrangements.

Frances S. Garcia

Frances S. Garcia, 81, of Las Vegas died March 7 in a local hospital. She was born June 17, 1922, in Yokahama, Japan. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.

Glenda J. Goolsby, 50, of Henderson died Feb. 1 in Henderson. She was born Feb. 11, 1953, in Los Angeles. A resident for 21 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Winn of Henderson; and three grandchildren.

Louzell Goolsby

Louzell Goolsby, 82, of Henderson died Jan. 30 in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 14, 1922, in New Mexico. A resident for 21 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, James A. Goolsby of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Adeline Mancuso Hopkins

Adeline Mancuso Hopkins, 77, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 16, 1926, in Perth Amboy, N.J. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired baker.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Taylor of Henderson; one brother, Ernest Villatore of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be at noon Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Sandra Ohlson

Sandra Ohlson, 53, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 17, 1950, in Chicago. A resident for 23 years, she was a slot operations coordinator.

She is survived by her parents, Evelyn and William Simak of Boulder City; one daughter, Traci Ault of Las Vegas; and one brother, James Simak of Boulder City.

Betty V. Stalker

Betty V. Stalker, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born March 31, 1939, in Illinois. A resident for seven months, she was a retired bank customer service agent.

She is survived by two sons, Scott A. Stalker of Las Vegas and George Stalker.

Eva H. Thomas

Eva H. Thomas, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born March 24, 1920, in Havana, Cuba. A resident for 14 years, she was a retired real estate bilingual secretary.

She is survived by two sons, Glen MacDonell of Lake Oswego, Ore., and Ranald MacDonell of Tigard, Ore.; and four grandchildren.

Ronald Lee Underbrink Sr.

Ronald Lee Underbrink Sr., 39, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 5, 1964, in California. A resident for 12 years, he was an HVAC contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Dalene; two sons, Ronald Lee Underbrink Jr. and Ryan Matthew Underbrink, and one daughter, Jamie Lyn Underbrink, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Grace Elizabeth Underbrink of Banning, Calif.; one brother, Donald E. Underbrink of Las Vegas; and six sisters, Sally Burris of Redlands, Calif., Donna Gonzales, of Vista, Calif., Nancie Underbrink of Beaumont, Calif., Carol Louise of Grand Terrace, Calif., Patty Barille of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Judy Steele of Hemet, Calif.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. handled arrangements.

Norma Walker

Norma Walker, 70, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 14, 1933, in Detroit. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired hydraulics company owner.

She is survived by one son, Rocky Walker of Henderson; one sister, Eleanor Allor of Gaylord, Mich.; one brother, Hilko Gabriel of Clinton Township, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
