Lisa Altenbern

Lisa Altenbern, 41, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 16, 1962, in Galveston, Texas. A resident for 18 years, she was a cosmetologist.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas; two daughters, Stephanie Altenbern and Tiffanie Altenbern, both of Las Vegas; her parents, Jayne and Dr. Eric Reiner II, and one brother, Eric Reiner III, all of Missouri City, Texas.

Carolyn Moore Anderson

Carolyn Moore Anderson, 42, of Las Vegas died March 1 in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 29, 1962, in Hampton, Ark. A resident for 24 years, she was a child care teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Isaac; three sons, Derrick L. Moore, Antonio D. Moore and Darrell K. Fitzgerald, all of Las Vegas; five brothers, Bobby Pumphert and Otis Bush, both of Harrell, Ark., Carl Moore of Little Rock, Ark., Calvin Moore of Hampton and Willie J. Moore of Michigan; nine sisters, Melveen Moore of Las Vegas, Jimmie Montgomery of Hampton and Rosie Roschell, Annie Bush, Emma Thompson, Dorothy S. Bush, Dorothy A. Bush, Annie J. Edwards and Maudie M. Moore, all of Harrell; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Portals to Glory Church of God in Christ, 2301 Comstock Drive. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Sherry Jean Beck

Sherry Jean Beck, 58, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A respiratory therapist, she was born June 6, 1945, in Las Vegas.

She is survived by two sons, Sonny Beck and Shane Beck, and one daughter, Shannon Kiester, all of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Juan Bracamontes-Perez Jr.

Juan Bracamontes-Perez Jr., 65, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A laborer in the construction industry, he was born Oct. 6, 1938, in Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Esperanza; two sons, Juan Bracamontes and Jorge Bracamontes; three daughters, Erica Bracamontes, Esperanza Bracamontes and Maria Bracamontes; his mother, Maria Perez-Baragan; three brothers, Miguel Bracamontes, Carlos Bracamontes and Jose Bracamontes; three sisters, Martha Bracamontes, Guadalupe Bracamontes, Antonia Bracamontes and Bertha Bracamontes; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Burial will be in Mexico.

Richard L. Christine

Richard L. Christine, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Canton, Ohio. A resident for 13 years, he was a sales representative for an automotive company and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Paul and David; two daughters, Susan and Lisa; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9-10:30 a.m. Monday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Herold H. Collins

Herold H. Collins, 82, of Henderson died Monday in Las Vegas. A lineman for the telephone company, he was born March 1, 1922, in Pennsylvania.

He is survived by one son, Dale H. Collins of Henderson.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Pennsylvania. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Antonio R. Hernandez

Antonio R. Hernandez, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 6, 1949, in Mexico. A resident for 47 years, he was a retired waiter.

He is survived by two sisters, Catalina Fernandez and Maria Badillo.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until a 1 p.m. service Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Ezra N. Jefferson

Ezra N. Jefferson, 48, of Las Vegas died Feb. 28 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 10, 1955, Las Vegas. A resident for 48 years, he was a structural engineer and a member of Teamsters Union Local 631.

He is survived by five brothers, Frank P. Jefferson of Reno, Samuel D. Jefferson, Willie L. Jefferson and Michael Yates, all of Las Vegas and the Rev. John L. Jefferson of Gardena, Calif.; three sisters, Juanita Buckles of North Las Vegas and Jo Etta Jefferson and Michelle Yates, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 500 W. Monroe Ave.

Lavena W. Lynch

Lavena W. Lynch, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Aug. 12, 1927, in Oklahoma.

She is survived by two daughters, Elyse Carter of Arlington, Texas, and Joy Harper of Las Vegas.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Bunker Mortuary's Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Norbert Majewski

Norbert Majewski, 72, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 10, 1931, in Chicago. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired plant manager for a molding manufacturer and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Muriel; two sons, Ralph Andrew Majewski of North Las Vegas and Christopher John Majewski of Chino Hills, Calif.; one brother, Ralph Gregory Majewski of Henderson; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

William R. 'Mac Magoo' Moncrief

William R. "Mac Magoo" Moncrief, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 6, 1939, in Arizona. A resident for 59 years, he was a construction supervisor, a member of Hessian Motorcycle Club and Christian Motorcycle Association.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Magoo Moncrief; four daughters, Linda Jean, Shari, Linda Lu and Michelle; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Edgar Eli Roberts

Edgar Eli Roberts, 64, of Henderson died Sunday. A retired carpenter, he was born Sept. 17, 1939, in San Antonio.

He is survived by two daughters, Jamie Buttner of Henderson and Vera Prescott of Las Vegas; two sisters, Jackie Fouler and Joyce Backus, and one brother, Percy Roberts, all of Sacramento; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Victor Schmitt, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. An Army veteran, he was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Buffalo, N.Y.

Frank Charles Storey

Frank Charles Storey, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A carpenter and ship builder and a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran, he was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Denver.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; three daughters, Linda Geldard, Denise and Leaf; and one son, Mark James Storey.

Services will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.

Kenneth Edward Storm

Kenneth Edward Storm, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 30, 1930, in Allegheny County, Pa. A resident for 12 years, he retired as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service after 24 years, was retired from the Army after 20 years and was a Korean War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Gerda; one son, Edward Kenneth Storm of Germany; one daughter, Marion Anna Butler of Phoenix; and one granddaughter.

Fannie Wee Williams

Fannie Wee Williams, 82, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. A resident for 16 years, she was born May 5, 1921, in Peterman, Ala.

She is survived by two sons, John Williams of Las Vegas and James Williams of Lancaster, Calif.; one daughter, Ann Ross of Las Vegas; two sisters, Julia Mummeryn of Peterman, Ala., and Ida Phillips of Chicago; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
