Letter: Nurses lose an influential voice
Wednesday, March 10, 2004 | 9 a.m.
I was saddened to read of the death of Mike O'Callaghan. Not only was he an influential political figure and an honest and straightforward commentator on current events, but he also was a sincere and outspoken friend of the nursing profession.
In meetings with him on health care issues, he was always courteous and receptive to our input. Never did he display the arrogance seen in too many political figures. He will be greatly missed by members of the nursing profession.
