Library to host Red Rock seminar
The North Las Vegas Library District in cooperation with Red Rock Interpretive Association will offer the seminar Exploring Red Rock I, Nature Trails from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Silver Mesa Recreation Center, 4025 Allen Lane, North Las Vegas.
Topics will include interesting facts about nature appreciation in the Red Rock Canyon area. The instructor will bring photos and animal and plant samples from the area for discussion. Call 839-2980.
CCSN schedules job fair Tuesday
The Community College of Southern Nevada is helping to jump start work opportunities by hosting the March into Spring career and job fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at CCSN's Caviglia Academic Computing Building, 700 College Drive, Henderson.
The event is open to local residents as well as CCSN students. Most employers will conduct a variety of activities: providing company information and job applications, accepting resumes, scheduling interviews and holding on-site interviews.
Participating employers will include: Police from Las Vegas, Henderson and Bullhead City, Ariz., Henderson Parks and Recreation, Cox Communications, Excel Communications, FM Marketing, First National Bank of Marin, Home Depot, Kelly Services, Love N Care, Midas Auto Service, Nevada Power, the Bellagio, Lady Luck, Luxor, Station Casinos, Manpower, Target, Terminix, United Parcel Service, 24-Hour Fitness, Nevada Army National Guard, U.S. Army and U.S. Naval Reserve, Wet-N-Wild and others.

Ear infections topic of program
The Henderson Multi-Generation Center is offering a program for parents of children with ear infections from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m Thursday at the center, 250 S. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson
The program will present information from scientific and popular publications, and will explore causes of infection and cover drugless alternative treatments.
Admission is $15, which include a private consultation and a nerve function test with one of the doctors.

The Southern Nevada Chapter of the American Red Cross
will hold its third annual IGT Golf Classic "We Have the Red ... You Bring the Green" beginning with registration and a continental breakfast at 6:30 a.m. Monday at Red Rock Country Club's Private Mountain Course, followed by a shotgun start at 8 a.m. An awards luncheon will follow at 1 p.m. Call 791-3311, ext. 3034 or 3022.
The Ultimate Saturday evening
for children in kindergarten through sixth grade will be held 7 p.m. Saturday at the Powerhouse Indoor Rock Climbing Center, 8201 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite B.
The Jewish Community Center
will sponsor rock climbing, a Havdallah service, arts and crafts, movies, and activities. Call 794-0090.
