A 63-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed by a car as he tried to cross Boulder Highway near Water Street on Sunday, Henderson Police said.
A white Chrysler New Yorker driven by Arlo Scarlett, 64, was heading south on Boulder Highway when he struck the man, whose name has not been released. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol does not appear to have been a factor, police said. Pedestrian error is believed to be the cause of the accident.
