Adela P. Armas

Adela P. Armas, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born July 14, 1922, in Leyte, Philippines. A resident for six years, she was a retired dietician aide.

She is survived by four daughters, Bernadette Armas-Gutierrez of San Francisco, Easter Armas of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Ellen Jane Aurelio-Khalili and Teresita Armas-Gamboa, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Stanislao Pascubello of the Philippines; two sisters, Anastacia Maralit of Daily City, Calif., and Catalina Pascubillo of the Philippines; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary today and from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Cemetery.

L. C. Baugh Jr.

L. C. Baugh Jr., 42, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born July 27, 1961, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a hotel housekeeper.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie; one daughter, Barbara Rene Collins, and two sons, James Powell and Tyrone Givens Jr., and one brother, Bobbie Baugh, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Cynthia Baugh of Las Vegas and Joyce Smith of Malvern, Ark.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in New Birth Baptist Assembly Church, 2200 E. Cheyenne Ave., followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Nolana May Bowman

Nolana May Bowman, 63, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 7, 1940, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for eight months, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Cal; three sons, Chris Bowman, Chad Bowman and Clint Bowman, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Cheri Roberts of Stewartsville, N.J.; one brother, Donn Worsley of Salt Lake City; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in the LDS Spanish Hills Ward, 9580 Peace Way. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Chad Jeremy Carter

Chad Jeremy Carter, 31, of Florida died June 14 in Florida. Born July 5, 1972, in Las Vegas, he was employed by Pilot Travel Centers.

He is survived by his fiancee, Samantha Frayde of Jackson, Miss.; one son, Ryan Jeremy Carter, one brother, Justin Hamilton Carter, and his father and stepmother, Michael Floyd and Elka Carter, all of Las Vegas; his mother and stepfather, Carolyn R. and David E. Clarke, and two stepbrothers, Christopher Clarke and Joseph Clarke, all of Jackson; and his grandmothers, Ethel Mayor of Gordonsville, Va., and Priscilla Du Van of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 1 p.m. memorial service Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by burial in Eden Vale Cemetery.

Eulalio Cerezo

Eulalio Cerezo, 94, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Feb. 12, 1910, in the Philippines. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired railroad conductor.

He is survived by one daughter, Celina Corella of Las Vegas; one son, Rosauro Cerezo of Fremont, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Patsy Conway

Patsy Conway, 60, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born July 2, 1943, in Pomona, Calif. A resident for 33 years, she was a clothing manufacturing supervisor for 24 years at Levi Strauss.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Rendon of Phoenix, Cindy DeLillo of Henderson and Sandra Rendon of Peach Springs, Ariz.; two sons, Michael Lyons of Henderson and Paul Rendon of California; his mother, Hazel Hurd, one sister, Lynnette Kaplan, and one brother, Jack Smith, all of California; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. services Friday in Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St.

Ian Joseph Fike

Ian Joseph Fike, 3 months, 14 days old, died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 15, 2004, in Los Angeles.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Tonia Fike of Las Vegas; three brothers, Jason Fike of Farmington, N.M., Orion Fike of Alberta and Paul Fike of Sedona, Ariz.; his grandparents, Carl Baggett of Los Angeles and Ed and Joann Fike and Renee and Joe Openshaw, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Ella Goodapple

Ella Goodapple, 92, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Durham, Mo. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, James Snider of Missouri; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 9 a.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Jamie Lynn Guzzo

Jamie Lynn Guzzo, 21, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born Oct. 8, 1982, in Hinsdale, Ill. A resident for 10 years, she was a 2001 graduate of Silverado High School.

She is survived by her mother, Donna Manion of Spooner, Wis.; two sisters, Melanie Manion of Spooner and Kelly Guzzo of Lisle, Ill.; and her grandmother, Kathleen Brust of Spooner.

Tadidna D. Henderson

Tadidna D. Henderson, 25, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 17, 1978, in Las Vegas. She was a teacher's assistant.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Veley; two sons, Henry L. Veley Jr., and Jamilin D. Veley, her parents, James and Malinda Henderson, four brothers, Cory Henderson, Damon Henderson, Daryl Henderson and Dwayne Henderson, one sister, Mekia Henderson, and her grandparents, Jessie and Leola Walker, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Living Word Ministry Church of God in Christ, 976 Hassell Ave., followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mary Jane Hendricks

Mary Jane Hendricks, 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 8, 1916, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired rehabilitation counselor and a retired clerk for the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan Owens, Margaret Faldik and Carolyn Maiden, all of Las Vegas; one son, Larry Wagor of Selden, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Joseph Locallo

Joseph Locallo, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 1, 1924, in Chicago. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired real estate broker and World War II Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen; one sister, Nellie Brugliera of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and one brother, Angelo Locallo of Milwaukee.

A private memorial service will be held. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite hospice care or charity for the blind.

William T. 'Billy' Maxwell

William T. "Billy" Maxwell, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born March 25, 1916, in Houston. A resident for 54 years, he was a retired gaming executive and World War II Air Force veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Cecelia Maxwell of Atlanta; one son, Ronald Maxwell of Orlando, Fla.; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in the LDS Francisco Park Ward. Graveside services will be noon in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Angela Teresa McDonnell

Angela Teresa McDonnell, 53, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 15, 1950, in Las Vegas. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sisters, Marie Kelly of Galway, Ireland, Eileen Skelly of New York City and Pauline Papcun of Las Vegas; and her brothers.

Thomas J. McLean

Thomas J. McLean, 89, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. Born Nov. 10, 1914, in Kansas, he was a railroad engineer.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys; two sons, Ron McLean of Las Vegas and Donald McLean of Balboa Island, Calif.; two sisters, Edna Matney of California and Ruth Yankovich of Kansas City, Kan.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Eileen Noss

Eileen Noss, 83, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born July 29, 1920, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Charles Noss of Las Vegas; one daughter, Sharon Dotson of Sacramento; and two grandchildren.

Services will be private. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Edward J. Oberle Jr.

Edward J. Oberle Jr., 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1919, in St. Louis, Mo. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired painter and World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by several nephews; great-nephews; and great-nieces.

Robert A. Reikofski

Robert A. Reikofski, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 28, 1922, in Columbus, Mont. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired truck driver and World War II and Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Jean E.; four daughters, Marsha Loewenson of Minneapolis, Susan Sanchez of Nashville, Tenn., and Carol Meyer-Brown and Sharon Spencer, both of Las Vegas; one son, Jeff Reikofski of Absarokee, Mont.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Maria V. Sacco

Maria V. Sacco, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 9, 1927, in Galiano, Aterno, Italy. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Anthony Sacco of Monore, Mich.; two daughters, Nina Force and Angela Kunich, both of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Edward Stokas

Edward Stokas, 58, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 11, 1946, in Illinois. A resident for 20 years, he was a traffic manager for an appliance company.

He is survived by one son, Adam Stokas of Carol Stream, Ill.

Isabell Sukowaty

Isabell Sukowaty, 90, of Cedar City, Utah, died Saturday in Cedar City. She was born Oct. 4, 1913, in St. Nazianz, Wis. A former Southern Nevada resident for 45 years, she was a cook for the Clark County School District.

She is survived by one son, Cliff Sukowaty of Cedar City; one sister, Magdeline Hartman, and one brother, Carl Schwartz, both of New Holstein, Wis.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Henderson, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.

Philip Michael Wilcox

Philip Michael Wilcox, 43, of Las Vegas died June 17. He was born Sept. 7, 1960, in Connecticut. A resident for 10 years, he was a technician.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen; one stepdaughter, Tara; two stepsons, Michael and James; his mother, Barbara of New York; his father and stepmother, Philip and Jeanie, and three sisters, Elizabeth, Emily and Annie, all of New Hampshire.

Willie Mae Zachery

Willie Mae Zachery, 58, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 6, 1946, in Detroit. A resident for six years, she was a retired cosmetologist.

She is survived by two daughters, Victoria Taylor of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Stacey Noles of North Las Vegas; three sons, Phillip Taylor of Detroit and Reginal Taylor and Corey Collins, both of North Las Vegas; his mother Victoria Brown of Detroit; and 14 grandchildren.
