Grizzlies upend the 51s

FRESNO -- Brian Dallimore, Adam Shabala and Jason Ellison had four hits apiece and Dallimore had three RBIs to lead a 17-hit attack by the Fresno Grizzlies as they pounded the Las Vegas 51s 8-1 in a Pacific Coast League game Tuesday night.
The victory pulled the last-place Grizzlies to within two games of the third-place 51s in the PCL Southern Division standings.
Kevin Correia was solid on the mound for Fresno. He worked eight innings, giving up just one run and five hits to get the victory. Dave Aardsma worked a scoreless ninth.
The 51s scored their lone run in the fifth inning when Luis Garcia tripled and then scored on Jason Repko's single.
The 51s and Grizzlies are both off today and then begin a three-game series at Cashman Field Thursday night.
