Leonard Baurmash

Leonard Baurmash, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 19, 1921, in New York City. A resident for two years, he was a retired nuclear engineer and World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Lynne Lobel of Las Vegas and Robin Adler of Redmond, Wash.; one brother, Jordan Baurmash of New York City; one sister, Anita Palant of Montgomery, Ala.; and two grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Troy Eugene Bryant

Troy Eugene Bryant, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born April 25, 1931, in Douglas, Ga. A resident for 18 years, he was a deputy sheriff.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Deanna; five sons, David Jan Bird, Robert Makell Bird, Christopher Dale Bird, John Walter Bird and Paul Dwayne Bird, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Ruby Lee Astley of Neptune Beach, Fla., and Jewel Luree Pishnery of Gurnee, Ill.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the Temple View LDS chapel, followed by burial in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Jack Everette Camp

Jack Everette Camp, 75, died Thursday in Las Vegas. Born April 10, 1929, in Indiana, he was a retired electrical lineman.

He is survived by his wife, Fredria; two sons, Jack Camp Jr., of Phoenix and Frank Van Vranken of California; and three daughters, Linda Van Vranken of Las Vegas and Suzie Smith and Grace Camp, both of Indiana.

Leon W. Dyer

Leon W. Dyer, 96, died Sunday in Las Vegas. Born Dec. 18, 1907, in Carnegie, Okla., he was a retired butcher, and World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Charles Hardy and Robert Preston.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.

The family suggests donations to the United Methodist Church, 2770 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89109.

Estella R. Goldstein

Estella R. Goldstein, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 23, 1927, in Beverly Hills, Calif. A resident for six years, she was a retired artist.

She is survived by her husband, Louis L.; and two sons, Murray L. Goldstein of Las Vegas and Steve L. Goldstein of Altadena, Calif.

Richard D. Kingery

Richard D. Kingery, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Iowa. A resident for 44 years, he was a technical engineer, and Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Annette; two daughters, Marcell McClean of Vancouver, B.C., and Sandra Kingery of Las Vegas; three sons, Michael Kingery, Gerald Kingery and Victor Kingery, all of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Willa Grace Lewallen

Willa Grace Lewallen, 70, of Logandale died Friday in Logandale. She was born June 16, 1934, in Green Forest, Ark. A Nevada resident for 51 years, she was a former Lady of the Moose. She loved to bowl and belonged to many bowling clubs.

She is survived by her husband Shelby; one daughter, Deana Gay Selig of Las Vegas; three sisters, June Bollinger of Farmersville, Calif., Murl Mysinger of Aurora, Mo., and Alanda Lee Newberry of Green Forest; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, followed by burial in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Tillie Monje

Tillie Monje, 82, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 13, 1921, in Santa Fe, N.M. A resident for 41 years, she was a retired dietetic supervisor.

She is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Lopez, and two sons, Nick Monje and Jesus Monje, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Ray Barbero; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park.

Virginia Philastre

Virginia Philastre, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 16, 1918, in New Orleans. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker and a member of the Young Ladies Institute.

She is survived by her husband Gene; and one nephew, Ron Delpit of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Mortuary.

Herbert Schwartz

Herbert Schwartz, 85, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born July 12, 1918, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 48 years, he was a retired maitre d'.

He is survived by three brothers, Sol Schwartz of Edmonton, Alberta, Irving Schwartz of Palmdale, Calif., and Arthur Schwartz of Punta Gorda, Fla.

Services will be 11 a.m. Sunday in King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane, followed by burial in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Derek A. Tanaka

Derek A. Tanaka, 34, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 7, 1970, in Kona, Hawaii. A resident for four years, he was a hotel security worker.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon M.; one son, Aaron Tanaka of Henderson; his father, Stephen Tanaka, one sister, Tess Tanaka, his grandparents, Shigeto and Nancy Tanaka, and his great-grandmother, Yoshiko Tanaka, all of Kona.

Angel Torosian

Angel Torosian, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 8, 1935, in Detroit. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John J.; three daughters, Rose Linares of Florida and Mary Margaret Torosian and Carol Pool, both of Las Vegas; three sons, John Torosian of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Mark Torosian of Las Vegas, and Edward Altounian of Michigan; three sisters, Rose Eurdekian of Las Vegas and Mary Dirasian and Ann Halajian, both of Michigan; and eight grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted by the family for a charity to be determined.

Sharon D. Truesdell

Sharon D. Truesdell, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday. She was born April 23, 1938, in Sioux City, Iowa. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, LeMoyne; two sons, Jim Truesdell of Virginia and Jeff Truesdell of Texas; one daughter, Julie Truesdell of Maine; her father, Jay Riaff of Arizona; one sister, Connie McKee of Arkansas; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Gloria 'Glo' Unell

Gloria "Glo" Unell, 64, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 23, 1940, in Chicago. A resident for four years, she was a retired interior designer.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin; two daughters, Deborah Kalinowski of Del Mar, Calif., and Robyn Unell of North Hollywood, Calif.; two sisters, Sandra Arden of Lincolnshire, Ill., and Cheryl Berman of Arlington Heights, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

Services were scheduled 10 a.m. today in King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Sally Mae Weber aka Brundy

Sally Mae Weber aka Brundy, 66, of Boulder City died June 20 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 28, 1938, in Tacoma, Wash. A resident for 45 years, she was an engineer for Sprint and a member of the Rainbow Girls.

She is survived by her husband, William R.; two daughters, Laura Louise O'Berry of San Diego and Dana Worley of Bremerton, Wash.; one son, Dave Brundy, and one sister, Paulla Shaw, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
