Las Vegas 51s outfielder Nick Theodorou, batting .293 in his third season at Triple-A, was named to the Pacific Coast League All-Star team Thursday.
Theodorou, who has also played second and third base and shortstop this year, will participate in the Triple-A All-Star Game July 14 in Pawtucket, R.I. The game will air on ESPN2.
Catcher Koyie Hill last week was named to the U.S. team for the Futures Game, a game for prospects at the major league All-Star site, this year Houston's Minute Maid Park.
Shortly after the All-Star break, Theodorou will represent Greece in the Olympic Games in Athens.
Las Vegas first baseman Luis Garcia was not named to the All-Star team, despite hitting .297 with 20 home runs, third best in the PCL.
