Free HIV tests to be conducted
The Clark County Health District, joined by several community organizations, will offer free, oral HIV testing for National HIV Testing Day between noon and 4 p.m. Saturday at the Rafael Rivera Community Center, 2900 Stewart Ave.
More testing will be done from 10 p.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday at Gipsys nightclub, 4605 Paradise Road.
The campaign is part of an ongoing effort to slow the spread of the virus and educate the public about HIV testing, counseling and treatment.

Youth soccer applications taken
Henderson United Youth Soccer will continue accepting applicants for its fall 2004 soccer season between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Galyan's inside the Galleria at Sunset, 1308 W. Sunset Road.
Registration is open to boys and girls between the ages of 3-13 years old.
Admission is $75 for players under 7 years old; $85 for players ages 8-13.

Mount Charleston cleanup planned
The Mount Charleston Lodge is planning Mount Charleston Cleanup Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, with complimentary hot dogs and soda to all who bring in trash collected.
Upon dropping off collected trash at the donated Republic Services bin at the lodge, the end of Kyle Canyon Road, receive a ticket for the refreshments.
