One of the things I think is really messed up is the fact people run for office, are elected, then instead of serving out their full term, they decide to run for some other office before their original term is completed.
If we could pass just one law that compels any politician to serve the full term before jumping ship, that one law would straighten out more messes and waste of taxes and everyone else's money than any other single or multiple action.
There's nothing wrong with being a county commissioner or city councilman and having your political eyes set on the Supreme Court, or Congress or some other office, but make it compulsory that any elected official serve out the job for which they were elected.
