Dorothea Baxley

Dorothea Baxley, 81, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in North Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 10, 1923, in Sturgeon Bay, Wis. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Rosemary Kay Riedy of Alhambra, Calif., Lee Ann Tripp of North Las Vegas and Bobbie-Jean Baxley-Kuhn of Las Vegas; one sister, Loudella Konkel of Madera Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Phillip Cicalo

Phillip Cicalo, 57, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Jan. 1, 1947, in Detroit. A resident for six years, he was a retired hotel security officer.

He is survived by his wife, Fay; two daughters, Michelle Cuchetti and Susan Dunlap, both of Michigan; four sons, Martin Cicalo of Michigan, Tony Cicalo of Indiana and Phillip Cicalo and Joe Cicalo; and 13 grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Dorothy Decker

Dorothy Decker, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A resident for 10 years, she was born Oct. 28, 1918, in New York.

She is survived by one son, Lyman Decker of New Hampshire; two daughters, Kathleen Humphrey of Las Vegas and Doris Fryer of Florida; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 4 p.m. service Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Marian Holmes

Marian Holmes, 63, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 21, 1940, in Whitefish, Mont. A resident for more than 30 years, she was a retired hospital secretary.

She is survived by one daughter, Louise Mulvey of Pahrump; one son, Douglas Holmes of Wyoming; two brothers, Landon McMurdo and Jimmy McMurdo, both of Washington state; and five grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Phyllis Elsie Kirby

Phyllis Elsie Kirby, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 10, 1929, in Burbank, Calif. A resident for 50 years, she was a retired professional ice skater.

She is survived by one daughter, Tallah L. Temple-Tracy of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Roger Milton Kirsch

Roger Milton Kirsch, 67, of Las Vegas died June 5 in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 9, 1936, in California. A resident for 12 years, he was an interior designer, an Army veteran and a member of the Exchange Club of Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife, Martina H.; two sons, Scott and Tim; two daughters, Peggy and Gwen; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Glen R. Leavitt

Glen R. Leavitt, 67, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born July 24, 1936, in Pioche. A resident for many years, he was a dealer and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; and one daughter, Danne Dikeman of Denver.

Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Mesquite Cemetery. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Matthew Ottomano

Matthew Ottomano, 74, of Las Vegas died June 7 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 16, 1930, in New York. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired post office agent and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one niece, Suzanne Crisci.

Mildred Riback

Mildred Riback, 82, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born July 26, 1921, in Montreal. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Riback.

She is survived by her husband, Morris; one daughter, Linda Riback of Oakland, Calif.; three sisters, Henrietta Epstein, Norma Platt and Dorothy Siegel; and one brother, Alan Goldenhar.

King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.

Carlina S. Soriano

Carlina S. Soriano, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born July 27, 1931, in Ilocos Norte, Philippines. A resident for three months, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Sofronio; three daughters, Florelina Sobrepena of Mather, Calif., Adela Alcartado of Rancho Cordova, Calif., and Edna Sagucio of Las Vegas; two sons, Sofronio Soriano of Las Vegas and George Soriano of Hawaii; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Tomasa Vazquez

Tomasa Vazquez, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 13, 1913, in Cuba. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two grandsons, Yoel Rodriquez and Eliccer Raya, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday with a 6 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
