'Amazing Castle'

The traveling interactive exhibit, "The Amazing Castle," opens Saturday and continues until Aug. 29 at the Lied Discovery Children's Museum, 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Admission is $6 adults, $5 children 1-17, seniors and military families. 382-3445.

Children's film

Las Vegas' Cultural Affairs Division presents the animated movie "The Little Mermaid" at 2 p.m. Thursday at the East Las Vegas Community/Senior Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave., as part of its Summer Children's Film Series. Admission is free. 229-1515.
