StumbleContractors will give scholarship

The Nevada Contractors Association announces its first annual Howdy Wells Scholarship Award, named after the group's inaugural chairman.
The $1,000 grant will be made available each semester to enrolled University of Nevada, Las Vegas students majoring in construction and civil engineering.
The deadline for fall semester submissions is Aug. 30. For application guidelines, call Phyllis McNutt at the Nevada Contractors Association at 222-0320.
