Maria M. Aguilar
Maria M. Aguilar, 85, of North Las Vegas died May 19. She was born May 27, 1918, in Guatemala. A resident for seven years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Enrique Montufar and Sergio Montufar, and one daughter, Delia Ramirez, all of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services and burial will be in Guatemala. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Rosemary B. Anderson
Rosemary B. Anderson, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 24, 1940, in Salt Lake City. A resident for more than 50 years, she was a retired florist.
She is survived by one son, Robert L. Anderson; two daughters, Jolene Reese and Kelly Perzy; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in St. Thomas Cemetery, Overton.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
James Lester Arnold
James Lester Arnold, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 1, 1912, in Pampa, Texas. A resident for 56 years, he was a freight truck driver and a member of the Gideon Society.
He is survived by one son, Douglas Dean Arnold of Henderson; one daughter, Joyce M. Voage of Pollock Pines, Calif.; one brother, Harlan Arnold, and one sister, Lenora Smith, both of Grants Pass, Ore.
Visitation was scheduled 2-6 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army.
Rose Clemente
Rose Clemente, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 7, 1926, in Stamford, Conn. A resident for 21 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; two daughters, Beverly Howe and Paula Peterson; two brothers, Benny Andreoli and Anthony Andreoli; two sisters, Dolores Pandozzi and Rachel Standen; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Guardian Angel Cathedral, 302 E. Desert Inn Road. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Paul Evans Jr.
Paul Evans Jr., 92, of Henderson died Friday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 30, 1911, in Edwardsville, Pa. A resident for five years, he was a retired customer service representative for Lockheed Aircraft, a World War II Marine Corps veteran, a member of the Aircraft Workers Union, Veterans of Foreign Wars and several bowling leagues.
He is survived by his wife, Esther; and 18 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Leonard Filomeno
Leonard Filomeno, 92, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. A retired painter, he was born Aug. 17, 1911, in Reggio De Calabria, Italy.
He is survived by two daughters, Lenore Falco of Las Vegas and Georgianne Aiello of Lombard, Ill.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
William Gene Harris
William Gene Harris, 69, of Las Vegas died May 30 in Las Vegas. He was born July 21, 1934, in Wyoming. A resident for 43 years, he was a retired heavy equipment operator and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by four sons, William G. Harris Jr., Raymond L. Harris, Robert M. Harris and Randy O. Harris; his father, William G. Harris Sr.; one brother, James Hardy; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside memorial service will be 10 a.m. Sunday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Jay Warren Herring
Jay Warren Herring, 80, of San Antonio died Sunday in San Antonio. He was born Feb. 29, 1924, in Gettysburg, Pa. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired maintenance controller in the Air Force, a member of Masonic Lodge Nellis 46, Zelzah Shrine Temple and Sunrise Golf Club.
He is survived by one daughter, Linda Pratt of Spring Branch, Texas; two brothers, Ira Herring and Glenn Herring, both of Cashtown, Pa.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Clarice Jones
Clarice Jones, 76, of North Las Vegas died May 25 in North Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 14, 1927, in St. Louis. A resident for 25 years, she was a social worker and a rape crisis volunteer.
She is survived by one daughter, Sunday Cross of North Las Vegas; four sisters; one brother; three granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

Marvin J. Kessler
Marvin J. Kessler, 63, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 23, 1941, in Rice Lake, Wis. A resident for 11 years, he was a candy factory assembler and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Susan J.; one daughter, Darlene Truitt of Mikana, Wis.; four sons, Tim Kessler, Mike Kessler and Ken Kessler, all of Spooner, Wis., and Mitch Kessler of Kenosha, Wis.; one sister, Alvina Osborne of Spooner; two brothers, Ernie Kessler and Don Kessler, both of Trego, Wis.; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Roger Milton Kirsch
Roger Milton Kirsch, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 9, 1936, in California. A resident for 12 years, he was an interior designer, an Army veteran and a member of the Exchange Club of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Martina H.; three sons, Scott, Tim and Kevin; two daughters, Peggy and Gwen; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Vincent Painter III
Vincent Painter III, 50, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 7, 1953, in Charleston, W.Va. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired grocery store clerk and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; one daughter, Jennifer Painter, his parents, Roberta and Vincent Painter Jr., and one brother, Charles Painter, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Susan Baker of Charlotte, N.C.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Edward Pawlak
Edward Pawlak, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 29, 1929, in Milwaukee. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired manager for a manufacturing firm.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne; seven sons, Edward Pawlak, James Pawlak, Mark Pawlak, Randolph Pawlak, Michael Pawlak, William Pawlak and Scott Lewandowski; two daughters, Jodi Schmidt and Lisa Morgan; two sisters, Deloris Thomas and Dorothy Dentice; three brothers, Richard Pawlak, David Pawlak and Robert Pawlak; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 30 minutes prior to a 2 p.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Kay Philpott
Kay Philpott, 72, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born Oct. 20, 1931, in Fresno, Calif. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired retail cosmetics clerk.
She is survived by one daughter, Arlene Philpott of Pasadena, Calif.; and one sister, Jean Galbraith of Clovis, Calif.
Graveside services were schedued at 9:20 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
John Quinn
John Quinn, of Boulder City died Tuesday. He was born Nov. 11, 1920, in Philadelphia. A resident for 32 years, he was a TWA airline captain, a World War II and Korean War pilot, Justice Court judge and businessman.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patty.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; three children, Michael, Tracey and Thomas; and three grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be 12:40 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Jack Vosburgh
Jack Vosburgh, 63, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born May 10, 1941, in New York. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired electronic technician for the Clark County School District and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his fiancee, Diann Stong; two brothers, Jack M. Vosburgh and Joseph A. Vosburgh; one sister, Linda Nold; and two grandchildren.
