Wedding announcement: Starr-Ries

Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Judith Craven of Las Vegas, gave their daughter Ariel Starr of Tierra Verde, Fla., in marriage to Dr. Barry Craig Ries of Tierra Verde, in a wedding ceremony on Sept. 20, 2003, on the "Starlight Majesty" in Clearwater Beach. Barry's parents are Dr. and Mrs. George Ries of Linwood, N.J.

The Captain of Ship officiated at the ceremony.

Marla Delapena was the matron of honor and Jay Waddell was best man. The bridesmaids in attendance were Breanna Elissa Bowman and Michelle Vanning. The groomsmen were Dr. George E. Ries, Dr. Frederick C. Leiser, Mr. James Van Cleve and Mr. John Litchfield.

Their honeymoon destination was a cruise to Belize, Grand Caymere, Cozumel and Costa Maya.

The bride, a 1976 gradate of Western High School and attended two years at UNLV, was a 1978 graduate of ABC Cosmetology and is the owner of a cosmetology business.

The groom is a 1975 graduate of Muhlenberg College and a 1979 graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry.
