New indictment charges bikers with murder

Five members of the rival motorcycle gangs the Mongols and Hells Angels were charged with murder in connection with the 2002 Laughlin River Run riot

Hells Angels member Frederick Dennis Donahue, 39, and Mongols members Kenneth Dysart, 41, Pedro Martinez Jr., 24, Victor Ramirez, 29, and Benjamin Leyva all face charges of murder, second-degree murder, conspiracy and burglary, according to an indictment unsealed on Friday.

Dysart, Martinez, Ramirez, Leyva and Donahue are scheduled for court appearances before District Judge Donald Mosley.

The new indictments bring the total number of defendants to 14 in connection to the melee beteween the rival motorcycle gangs at Harrah's Laughlin. The fight resulted in the deaths of Robert Emmet Tumelty, 50, Jeramie Dean bell, 27, and Anthony Salvador Barrera, 43.

A Clark County grand jury returned a 73-count indictment April 19 against seven Hells Angeles and two Mongols.

The original indictment alleges that Hells Angels members Calvin Schaefer, Sohn Regas, Dale Leedom, James Hannigan, Raymond Foakes, Maurice Eunice, Rodney Cox, along with Mongols Alexander Alcantar and Roger Pinney, entered Harrah's in Laughlin with the intention of causing or provoking a fight "to assist the activities of the criminal gang."
