Letter: We’re already buying security

I'm in favor of the police, firefighters and all first responders getting a raise. We depend on them. But why is Iraq getting billions of our dollars while we're trying to float a Clark County sales tax increase?
What happened to the federal funds due to us for homeland security? Shouldn't the goal of two officers per 1,000 people in Clark County be considered as part of homeland security?
I will be voting no on the proposed sales tax increase. We in the middle class are tapped out!
Bring our federal dollars and our troops home. This is pure nonsense.
