A construction worker was killed Wednesday at the World Market Center building site in downtown Las Vegas.
Jose Luis Martinez Jr., 29, died about 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, the Clark County coroner's office said.
Martinez was climbing from the fourth story of a construction site at Grand Central Parkway and Bonneville Avenue when he broke through a platform and fell through to another platform. He then fell through a safety railing and landed on the west side of the tower, 38 feet below, police said.
He was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died.
