UNLV has summer classes for incoming students

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas is mailing brochures to area high schools to promote summer English, math and career preparation courses for those planning to attend UNLV in the fall.
The brochure, "Get Ready this Summer for UNLV in the Fall," contains information on outreach English and math courses scheduled to begin in June and July.
The English courses include elementary composition for students who need to improve basic writing practices before taking English 101.
An elementary algebra course offered on-line will begin on Monday.
Education and career personal development will provide information on how to succeed in the college learning environment, as well as how to evaluate various college majors and career choices.
