Emory D. Bishop

Emory D. Bishop, 64, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 18, 1939, in Clinton, S.C. A resident for nine years, he was a retired Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Nora; and three daughters, Brenda Fysh of Renton, Wash., Linda Grear of Tacoma, Wash., and Vikki Tipton of Fire, Wash.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until a 1 p.m. service Friday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St.

James Caldwell Jr.

James Caldwell Jr., 51, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 18, 1953, in Tennessee. A resident for many years, he was a resort company telemarketer.

He is survived by one daughter, Kristen Fleming, and one sister, Carolyn Owens, both of Memphis, Tenn.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Memphis. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Mary Grace Ciambrone

Mary Grace Ciambrone, 87, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born April 17, 1917, in Illinois. A resident for 20 years, she was a bookkeeper.

She is survived by one sister, Mary Ellen DeValle.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Neptune Society of Las Vegas, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Frederick Claudio

Frederick Claudio, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 30, 1951, in Tucson. A resident for four years, he was an electronics technician for Lockheed Martin for 15 years and was a Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; one son, Shaun Claudio; one daughter, Penny Smith; his father, Reginald Claudio; two brothers, Reggie Claudio and Jimmy Claudio; two sisters, Irene Claudio and Tina Moiseve; and two granddaughters.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Saturday in the Mountain View Assembly of God, 3901 E. Bonanza Road. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Joseph Cocco

Joseph Cocco, 66, of Las Vegas died July 21 in Las Vegas. A credit analyst, he was born Aug. 13, 1937, in New York.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline.

Burial will be in the Bronx, N.Y. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Dorothy L. Cooper

Dorothy L. Cooper, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 17, 1921, in London. A resident for 41 years, she was a retired secretary.

She is survived by two sons, Glenn Quigley and Rick Quigley, and one daughter, Debbie Kraft, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Ethel Gosnold of Eastbourne, England, and Queenie Houlihan of Manchester, England; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Zoltan Dobos

Zoltan Dobos, 40, of Las Vegas died July 4 in Las Vegas. He was born March 28, 1964, in Hungary.

He is survived by his companion, Michelle Woodington of Las Vegas.

Robert Eugene Doerr

Robert Eugene Doerr, 45, of Salt Lake City died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 4, 1959, in Tacoma, Wash. A former resident of Las Vegas, he was a journeyman electrician and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Betty Doerr, and one sister, Brenda Doerr, all of Las Vegas; and one brother, Douglas Raymond Doerr of Montclair, Va.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 9:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Charlotte Epstein

Charlotte Epstein, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 29, 1912, in New York. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Levine of Las Vegas and Deena Lafanzan of Oceanside, N.Y.

Burial will be in Pinelawn, N.Y. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Anna L. Greely

Anna L. Greely, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 29, 1936, in Rochester, N.Y. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert C.; three sons, Stephen R. Greeley of Simi Valley, Calif., Scott A. Greeley of Van Nuys, Calif., and James E. Greeley of Northridge, Calif.; two daughters, Julie A. Orey of Castaic, Calif., and Penny L. McRae of Valencia, Calif.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Earlean Henry

Earlean Henry, 75, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 29, 1929, in Ruleville, Miss. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired home health care person.

She is survived by four daughters, Clara Calhoon of Pahrump, Toni L. King and Natasha Henry, both of Henderson, and Antionette Henry of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Rojean Ann Kranitsky

Rojean Ann Krantisky, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Minnesota.

She is survived by her husband, Louis; two sons, Jeff Kranitsky and Frank Kranitsky, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Laura Lessard of Henderson; one brother, Daryl Wickstrom of Rhodes, Iowa; two sisters, Lois Stark of Lake Wales, Fla., and Joyce Iesley of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Marlene J. Maes

Marlene J. Maes, 61, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born May 25, 1943, in Chicago. A resident for three years, she was a retired saleswoman for a steel distributor.

She is survived by her husband, Peter; one daughter, Catherine A. Preuss of Henderson; one son, Kevin A. Maes of Burbank, Ill.; one brother, Anthony Mrozinski of West Chicago, Ill.; and one grandchild.

Gregory Lee McAllister

Gregory Lee McAllister, 44, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 16, 1960, in Marion, Va. A resident for 34 years, he was a casino slot manager.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy; two sisters, Deborah Ellis of Las Vegas and Patricia Brame of Supply, N.C.; and two brothers, Stephen McAllister of Saltville, Va., and Terrence McAllister of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services and burial will be in Virginia.

Christian Louis Olsen

Christian Louis Olsen, 3, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 13, 2001, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his parents, William and Diana Olsen, two brothers, Bill Olsen and Jonathan Olsen, and one sister, Rachel Olsen, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, William and Tereece Olsen and David and Mary Candland.

Margaret M. Ott

Margaret M. Ott, 93, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 14, 1910, in Watertown, N.Y. A resident for seven years, she was a retired retail customer service representative and a member of American Business Women's Association.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Adams of Las Vegas and Sharon Rose Bradley of San Francisco; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Michael J. Padur

Michael J. Padur, 63, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in North Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 19, 1940, in Bridgeport, Conn. A resident for four years, he was a retired hotel security officer and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one daughter, Gloria Otero of Naugatuck, Conn.; two brothers, Bernard Padur of Bridgeport, Conn., and Paul Padur of Weathersfield, Conn.; one sister, Mary Ann Miller of Trumbull, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

Pablo Francisco Palacious Sr.

Pablo Francisco Palacious Sr., 49, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A laborer, he was born May 18, 1955, in Juarez, Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Gomez Palacious; three sons, Alejandro, Jaime and Pablo; his mother, Ramona Palacious; three brothers, Juan, Jesus and Javier; three sisters, Antona, Socorro and Irma; and five grandchildren.

Louis Frank Ramos

Louis Frank Ramos, 70, of Las Vegas died July 15 in Las Vegas. He was born June 19, 1934, in Puerto Rico. A resident for one year, he was a retired maintenance worker at a nursing home and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; two daughters, Theresa Olson and Anna Beatrice Lopez, both of Las Vegas; two sons, Joseph Louis Ramos of Anaheim, Calif., and Marcos Ramos of Las Vegas; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.

Leo Smith

Leo Smith, 79, of Boulder City, died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 20, 1924, in San Pedro, Calif. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired firefighter and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Charlotte; three daughters, Jackie Faulkner, Catherine Stout and Barbara Jean Zuppardi; two sons, John R. Smith and Daniel Michael Smith; one sister, Ann Watts of Washington state; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be 6 p.m. Sunday in Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive, Boulder City. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Bruce Wendell Stephenson

Bruce Wendell Stephenson, 88, of Las Vegas died Wednesday. An entrepreneur, he was born Feb. 22, 1916, in Fillmore, Utah.

He is survived by his wife, Hilma; three daughters, Bonnie Allen and Deann Thomas, both of Henderson, and Lynda Kaikala of Hawaii; seven grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the LDS chapel at 1525 Guilford. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Jean Surowiec

Jean Surowiec, 81, of Las Vegas, died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 15, 1923, in Pittsburgh. A Las Vegas resident for four years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Eileen Massi and Deborah Surowiec, and two sons, Thomas Surowiec and Robert Surowiec, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Stell Cap of Baden, Pa.; two brothers, Walter Bienkowski of Finnleyville, Pa., and Frank Banks of Ambridge; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Paul Syrdal

Paul Syrdal, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 17, 1926, in Northfield, N.D. A resident for six years, he was a systems analyst and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene; one daughter, Erica Syrdal of Paris; one sister, Katherine Rottsolk of Northfield, Minn.; and two grandchildren.

Phillip Tarver Sr.

Phillip Tarver Sr., 53, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 31, 1951, in Galveston, Texas. A resident for 19 years, he was an electrician.

He is survived by his wife, Darlynn; three sons, Keith Tarver, John Tarver and Phillip Tarver Jr.; three brothers; two sisters; and six grandchildren.
