Brother, sister found shot to death

A 57-year-old man shot and killed his 72-year-old sister Monday afternoon before committing suicide in an RV park in southeast Las Vegas, authorties said.
A family member visiting the trailer, parked at the International RV Resort in the 6900 block of East Russell Road, discovered the bodies of Rosa Vallado and her brother, Marco Antonio Vallado Sr., about 4 p.m., according to Metro Police homicide Lt. Tom Monahan.
Both suffered fatal gunshot wounds in the apparent murder-suicide, Monahan said.
Family members told police the brother and sister lived together in the white Mallard trailer and were both "severely depressed," Monahan said. The two also had a history of mental illness, but were not suffering from anything terminal, he said.
Jeff Hadlie, 42, who lives in a trailer across from the Vallados, said he has seen the two from time to time, but had never spoken to them.
"They kept to themselves," Hadlie said. "No one I talked to yesterday (Monday) knew them. When they came home, they'd just stay in their trailer and not come out.
"They weren't outgoing or anything, but I didn't realize they were that depressed," he said. "I guess you can't tell that kind of thing just from seeing someone."
