Donna M. Brandt

Donna M. Brandt, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 1, 1936, in Chicago. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberley Huckabay and Tracy Leckey, both of Las Vegas; one son, Todd Leckey of Salt Lake City; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Frank Carillo

Frank Carillo, 47, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 7, 1956, in Pueblo, Colo. A resident for 10 years, he was a freelance production specialist.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; one stepson, C.J. Dimino, and one stepdaughter, Amber Dimino, both of Henderson; his parents, Fred and Irene Carillo of Northglenn, Colo.; one sister, Barbara Charter of Clarence Center, N.Y.; and five brothers, Larry Carillo and Jim Carillo, both of Las Vegas, Victor Carillo of North Las Vegas and Chuck Carillo and Jay Carillo, both of Northglenn.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Central Christian Church, 1001 New Beginnings Drive, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Floyd Cooper

Floyd Cooper, 60, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 7, 1943, in Camarilla, Texas. A resident for 16 years, he was an iron worker, a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran and a member of Iron Workers Local 416.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby; four sons, Rasheem Cooper, Paul Cooper, Floyd Cooper Jr. and Dewey Cooper II; and four daughters, Jackie Cooper, Renita Cooper, Karen Cooper and Ruby Cooper.

Visitation is scheduled noon Thursday in Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St. Burial will be in Texas.

Alvan Roe Culbertson

Alvan Roe Culbertson, 76, of Las Vegas died July 19 in Las Vegas. He was born April 21, 1927, in Missouri. A resident for one year, he was a utility clerk, a Marine Corps veteran, a member of the Elks, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Harriette; two sons, Stephen Culbertson of Montclair, N.J., and Jeffery Culbertson of Las Vegas; one sister, Gertrude Wadington of Dearborn, Mich.; and three grandchildren.

Patricia E. Duran

Patricia E. Duran, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 17, 1928, in Denver. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Milton; four sons, Milton Duran Jr. of Pleasanton, Calif., Milton Duran Jr. of Concord, Calif., and Tim Duran and Dennis Duran, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Graveside services will follow at noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Gloria J. Escobar

Gloria J. Escobar, 62, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 25, 1941, in Topeka, Kan. A resident for five years, she was a retail store manager.

She is survived by her husband, David; three sons, David J. Escobar of Topeka, Kan., and Maurice Spencer and Shane Hogan, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Sheri Rose of Hoyt, Kan.; two brothers, Harvey Moore of Topeka and Tim Moore of Neosho Rapids, Kan.; one sister, Debbie Watson of Tonganoxie, Kan.; and 10 grandchildren.

Donald Lee Harmon

Donald Lee Harmon, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 25, 1932, in Oklahoma. A resident for many years, he was a construction laborer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; one son, Shannon; two daughters, Sharon and Sherri; one brother, James; four sisters, Norma, Patricia, Susan and Vicky; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Eva Heftman

Eva Heftman, 90, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 7, 1913, in Illinois. A resident for 30 years, she was a retail saleswoman and a member of B'nai B'rith.

She is survived by one son, Jack Kopol; one daughter, Faye Kopol; one sister, Betty; and one grandchild.

William 'Mike' Hendricks

William "Mike" Hendricks, 73, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 1, 1931, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired heavy equipment operator, a Korean War Air Force veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Jerry "Gomesindo" Hendricks of Henderson and Gabriel Hendricks of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Georgia Jay of Amarillo, Texas, and LaJean Stoddard of Casper, Wyo.; one uncle, Roy Slane of Center, Colo.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until a 7 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Raul Herrera

Raul Herrera, 46, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 5, 1957, in Mexico. A resident for three years, he was a clerk for a home improvement business.

He is survived by two sons, Raul Herrera and Carlos Herrera, and one daughter, Cindy Herrera, all of California; his mother, Rosa Gomez of Las Vegas; four brothers, Joaquin Herrera of Mexico and Luis R. Herrera, Arturo Herrera and Javier Herrera, all of Las Vegas; four sisters, Rosa M. Alvarado and Lilia P. Penuelas, both of Las Vegas, and Norma A. Rangel and Maricela Huerta, both of California.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will be in California. Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Bennett 'Ben' Indurante

Bennett "Ben" Indurante, 64, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 13, 1939, in Chicago. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired pit boss and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Anthony Indurante of Henderson and David Indurante of Las Vegas; one daughter, Noelle Indurante of Henderson; one sister, Ronnie Dann-Honor of Glendora, Calif.; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Billie W. Lambeth

Billie W. Lambeth, 85, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 28, 1918, in Goree, Texas. A resident for 62 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Willie W. Lambeth of Belton, Mo.; one son, Larry Lambeth; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Dorothy J. Lively

Dorothy J. Lively, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1921, in Lincoln, Neb. A resident for 43 years, she was a homemaker, a member of Las Vegas Christian Women, Las Vegas Republican Women and Order of the Eastern Star, Desert Chapter 22 in Boulder City and president of the Garden Club.

She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Sr.; two sons, Robert L. Lively Jr. of Las Vegas and N. Jeff Powell of Lincoln; two daughters, Jean L. Rusk and Madeleine L. Cuce, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Gilbert Ryder of Santa Ana, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Gloria Jean Martinek, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Nov. 16, 1935, in Kansas.

She is survived by one son, Josef Meditz of Las Vegas; her mother, Nettie Wiacek; and one sister, Marilyn Wiacek.

Mary R. Morgan, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 19, 1917, in Evanston, Ill. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Gerald E. Morgan III of Sandy, Utah, and John C. Morgan of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho; and one daughter, Jenny T. Morgan of Los Angeles.

Doris E. Okelberry, 69, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 3, 1934, in Reno. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired teacher.

She is survived by two sons, Gordon Okelberry and Eric Okelberry, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Lisa Arbogast of Eden, Utah; and four grandchildren.

Paul R. Salzman

Paul R. Salzman, 85, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born May 31, 1919, in Los Angeles. A resident for two years, he was a retired marketer in the consumer electronics field, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the American Radio Relay League and the Disabled American Veterans.

He is survived by his wife, Gisela; two daughters, Carol Dial of Redding, Calif., and Mercedes Lewis of Inyo Kern, Calif.; three sons, Joel Salzman of Las Vegas, David Salzman of Los Angeles and Paul K. Salzman of Long Beach, Calif.; one sister, JoYce Selz of Surprise, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Betty L. Shults, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 21, 1931, in Lawrence, Kan. A resident for 33 years, she was a self-employed sales representative and past president and lifetime member of the Girl Scouts.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene A.; one daughter, Cassandra Shults of Albuquerque; and one sister, Jackie Still of Cedar Edge, Colo.

Visitation is scheduled 3 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Edna B. Stauffer

Edna B. Stauffer, 93, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 8, 1911, in San Diego. A resident for 35 years, she was a retired registered nurse, a member of Children's Service Guild, Assistance League and involved in childrens' fund-raising in San Diego.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Rayfield Stauffer.

She is survived by one nephew, Larry Lofler of Vista, Calif.
