Angelo Borruto

Angelo Borruto, 78, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born March 17, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, he was a presser in the garment industry.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy; two sons, Anthony Borruto and George Borruto, both of Henderson; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista.

Quanetta L. 'Q' Brown

Quanetta L. "Q" Brown, 24, of Las Vegas died July 15 in North Las Vegas. Born May 24, 1980, in Las Vegas, she was a lifetime resident.

She is survived by her mother, Erica Brown, and her father, Ceward Victorian, both of North Las Vegas; one brother, Zacaris Green, and five sisters, Charnita Clark, Breonna Clark, Shantoya Victorian, Carlotta Green and Toni Perry, all of Las Vegas; and her grandmother, Elouise Caldwell of North Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be held at noon Saturday in Church of the Lord Jesus, 1260 W. Bartlett Ave., followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Michael David

Costello

Michael David Costello, 35, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 31, 1969, in Orange, Calif. A resident for 33 years, he was a musician.

He is survived by his parents, Ruth and Jim Parcells, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, John Parcells of Las Vegas and Jim Costello; and four sisters, Terri Spencer of Utah and Jessica Mills, Christi Rice and Lori Harper, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be held at 1:01 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

The family suggests donations to the American Lung Association, 3375 Glen Ave., No. 7, Las Vegas, NV 89121.

Ethele L. Dettweiler

Ethele L. Dettweiler, 90, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born July 12, 1914, in Indiana. A resident for 84 years, she was a property management worker.

She is survived by one daughter, Becky Morse; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Neptune Society of Nevada, 8570 Del Webb Blvd., is handling private arrangements.

Richard Easter

Richard Easter, 50, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 11, 1954, in Philadelphia. A resident for 14 years, he was an Army veteran, and a member of the Red Riderz.

He is survived by two sons, Richard P. Easter and Sean Easter, both of Henderson; his mother, Catherine Easter, and one sister, Donna Walker, both Havre De Grace, Md.; one brother, Robert Easter of Boothwyn, Pa.

A memorial service will be held at 8 tonight at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Almon L. Finton

Almon L. Finton, 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 2, 1921, in Warsaw, Ill. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired Army major.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; four sons, Larry E. Finton of Las Vegas, Terry L. Finton of Avondale, Ariz., Tony R. Finton of Statesville, N.C., and Tommy W. Finton of Kingman, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 16 in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Bonnie A. Jones

Bonnie A. Jones, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 9, 1944, in Utah. An eight-year resident, she was a retired nail technician.

She is survived by her husband, David Lee; one son, Quin Young of Fernley; one daughter, Shaundi Spurgeon of Las Vegas; her mother, Alta Robinson of Ogden, Utah; one sister, Tamara Kester of Hooper, Utah; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Doris M. Keyser

Doris M. Keyser, 84, of Riverside, Calif., died Monday in St. George, Utah. A resident for 48 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane F. Fleisher of Riverside; two sons, Robert Keyser of Las Vegas and Frank Keyser of Swain Creek, Utah; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. rosary today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 301 S. Casino Center Blvd. Burial will be held Tuesday in Culver City, Calif.

Gaspar A. 'J.R.' Lazaro Jr.

Gaspar A. "J.R." Lazaro Jr., 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 21, 1928, in New Orleans. A resident for 42 years, he was a retired casino executive.

He is survived by three daughters, Isabel Calvin and Sharon Trotter, both of Las Vegas and Roxanne Winter of Twin Falls, Idaho; one brother, Billy Lazaro of New Orleans; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Audrey Man

Audrey Man, 56, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born July 3, 1948, in Honolulu. A resident for three months, she was a stocker at a retail industry.

She is survived by her husband, Gary.

Services will be held in Hawaii.

Patrick K. McVey

Patrick K. McVey, 39, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 24, 1965, in Lamar, Colo. A resident for 16 years, he was an area manager for an engineering company, and a member of the International Motorcycle Safety Association.

He is survived by his mother, Majorie A. Jones of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Rosa E. Morrison, 50, of Las Vegas died July 10 in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 21, 1954, in St. Joseph, La. A resident for 37 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Wesley and Shinequa Morrison, both of Las Vegas; her mother, Lucille Poole, and her father, Milton Thomas, both of North Las Vegas; eight brothers, Leon Morrison of California, and the Rev. Danny Morrison, Larry Morrison, Richard Morrison, Ronald Morrison, Milton Morrison Jr., Bryant Morrison and the Rev. Robert Poole Jr., all of Las Vegas; six sisters, Shirley Dodd, Karren Pitts, Troy White, Wuanadra Morrison and Sondra Carter, all of Las Vegas and Catherine Puryea of Louisiana; and nine grandchildren.

Holly Neighbors

Holly Neighbors, 90, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born March 21, 1914, in Lewiston, Idaho. A resident for 53 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Michael Neighbors of Las Vegas; two sisters, Zadie Emmerich and Bernice Fowler, both of Lewiston, Idaho; and one grandchild.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Mortuary.

Gabriel James Rubio Sr.

Gabriel James Rubio Sr., 39, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 2, 1964, in Colorado. A resident for many years, he was a cabinet maker.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria; one son, Gabriel Jr.; one daughter, Vanessa; four brothers, Anthony, John, Joe and Richard; and five sisters, Pat, Charlotte, Frances, Andrea and Margaret.

Colorado services are pending. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Ruby Lee Sanders

Ruby Lee Sanders, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 13, 1930 in Alsatia, La. A resident for 70 years, she was a housekeeping supervisor.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Macedonia Baptist Church, 2600 Clayton St., followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Willie J. Turner Jr.

Willie J. Turner Jr., 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 3, 1928, in Lake Providence, La. A resident for 45 years, he was a laborer.

He is survived by one son, Willie Turner III, and one daughter, Nellie Mae James, both of Tallulah, La.; three brothers, Sam Turner of Renton, Wash., and Jimmie Turner and Bruce Turner, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Georgia Blalark and Bernice Borkin, both of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Louisiana.
