Letter: Ronstadt should stick to singing

Your July 20 editorial, "Let freedom ring on stage," missed the mark. Besides the remarks Ronstadt made concerning Michael Moore, she was also critical of the Aladdin Theatre itself. As her employer, the Aladdin management had every right to ask her to leave.
Had I been in the audience, I would have been one of those booing her comments. When I pay for entertainment, I want to be entertained. I don't want to listen to the entertainer's political viewpoints. If I want to hear politics, I'll turn on the radio and listen to Rush Limbaugh.
