Letter: Hotel wrong to stifle free speech
Thursday, July 22, 2004 | 9:03 a.m.
I have twice stayed at the Aladdin and have seen shows there. But after the Aladdin's outrageous, despicable and unfair treatment of Linda Ronstadt, I will never go there again. As well, I'm telling all my friends to boycott the Aladdin.
This is America, where we have free speech, not a fascist dictatorship, where free speech is stifled and we punish those who don't agree with us. The Aladdin should be ashamed for the way it treated a great singer and a great American.
This is exactly the sort of thing that Michael Moore is warning us against. In the future I will take my hotel, casino and show money elsewhere.
