School District seeks bus service applications
The Clark County School District's Transportation Department is encouraging parents of students eligible for bus service to submit an application regarding bus service for the 2004-05 school year by July 30.
Those who are eligible for bus service and submit an application prior to or on July 30 will receive bus service information through the mail. Bus service information includes pick up location and time, bus route number and more. Bus service information letters will be mailed during the week of Aug. 16.
Individuals submitting an application after July 30 will not receive bus service information through the mail and will need to call the Transportation Department at 799-8111 or visit a back-to-school fair to receive his or her specific bus service information.
Back-to-school fairs for the 2004-05 school year will be held during all mall hours on the following dates and locations: Aug. 14 and 15, Boulevard Mall, 3528 Maryland Parkway; Aug. 21 and 22, Meadows Mall, 4300 Meadows Lane; and Aug. 28 and 29, Galleria at Sunset Mall, 1300 Sunset Road, Henderson.
Bus service applications and additional information can be obtained by logging on to www.ccsd.net/transportation or calling 799-8111.
Transportation Department representatives will be available at all back-to-school fairs.
