7-year-old girl found unharmed

A 7-year-old girl was missing for more than two hours this morning after telling her 5-year-old sister she wanted to find her grandparents in Florida, Metro Police Officer Jose Montoya said.

The girl left her home in the 7500 block of Dry Creek Avenue near Buffalo and Vegas drives about 5 a.m., police said. Her 5-year-old sister went with her but returned home and told their father what had happened. The 7-year-old girl was found about 8:30 a.m. at a neighbor's house, police said.

The townhome where the girl lives was quiet after the girl had been returned.
