Shaquille O'Neal's possible move from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Miami Heat has caused some tremors in National Basketball Association future books in Las Vegas.
Just a couple of weeks ago, the odds on Miami to win the NBA championship were in the 25-1 range around town -- in fact, that was the number sent out by Las Vegas Sports Consultants, which establishes odds for most Las Vegas sports books.
With the news that O'Neal could be headed to Miami, the odds on the Heat dropped to 6-1 according to LVSC, and they were listed at 10-1 at the Stardust.
