LONDON -- Kerzner International Ltd., owner of the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas, plans to help build three casino resorts in the United Kingdom, including one in London's Millennium Dome with Anschutz Entertainment Group, for $1 billion.
The other developments would be in Glasgow, Scotland, and East Manchester, Kerzner said in a statement. Denver-based Anschutz Entertainment Group is a unit of billionaire Philip Anschutz's Anschutz Corp.
Kerzner said the developments are contingent on the U.K. relaxing laws related to casino gambling, including allowing more slot machines.
