The criticisms of the Michael Moore movie are laughable. And not just because 95 percent of the people who are complaining about this documentary have never seen the movie.
No, the real insanity is that these critics seem to have no problem with the skewed broadcasts of Rush Limbaugh, G. Gordon Liddy, Fox News or CNN. Nor are they complaining about conservative-leaning publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Time magazine. The untruths constantly broadcast or printed in these sources are just fine with the conservatives.
But rattle these beliefs? Show the other side? Display a "fair and balanced" look at lives being lost and the shenanigans of national politics? Oh my God, it's treason. Conform or you're un-American, they say.
Remember, this is a two-party country. There is freedom of speech and freedom of information. Just because someone doesn't agree, say, with Dick Cheney, it does not make them traitors. It makes them Americans.
