WEEKEND EDITION
July 10 - 11, 2004
George W. Bush smugly deriding John Edwards' capability to be president fully embodies the concept of the term "chutzpah." Perform a simple thought experiment: In your minds, place two photos side by side, one of Bush, one of Edwards. Ponder briefly.
Which one has the vastly more substantive, independent professional accomplishments?
Which one was born to wealth and privilege, yet managed to foul up every venture undertaken, having to always be bailed out?
Which one was denied admission to law school?
Which one can expound eloquently at length, sans teleprompter, with words unmangled, with syntax and grammar correct and ideas coherently expressed?
No further questions.
