Lender enters Vegas market

Westminster Mortgage Corp., a subsidiary of Toll Brothers Inc., a nationwide and local home builder of luxury homes, entered the Las Vegas market July 1.

The company hired two loan officers who will serve the local Toll Brothers communities and the local real estate market. The company expects to originate $1.3 billion in loans nationwide this year.

Future plans include the addition of a local manager and expansion into the Reno market. The new division will initially be based out of the Toll Brothers at Red Rock Country Club community in the west Las Vegas Valley.
